As we grow and transition into a busy fall season, we are looking for a passionate industry professional interested in either a full time or part-time (25+ hours, weekends required) position.
At Red Bicycle Mt. Juliet, we are more than a traditional coffee shop – we are micro-cafe that prepares real, fresh food by hand every day in our coffee houses. No freezers, microwaves or can openers to be found!
In this season, we are seeking experienced restaurant and coffee industry professionals alike. Regardless of your industry background, we’ll provide the training you need to feel confident working at any station – grill, cashier, prep, barista and expo. We take pride in our exceptional customer service and it’s up to each of our team members to create the warm and friendly atmosphere that our customers expect and enjoy. So whether you have experience as a barista, cashier, server, bartender or chef, we’re always looking for passionate and enthusiastic candidates to join our team.

As a Barista/Cashier/Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and speciality beverages
- Preparing fresh breakfast and lunch foods, including scrambles, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, gourmet crepes and more
- Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
- Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls
- Assisting with food preparation, including dicing vegetables, making fresh scrambled eggs, and preparing various sauces from scratch
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
- And most importantly, building relationships with customers and providing a professional, personalized experience
