Are you passionate about property maintenance and excited to lead a team to oversee operational excellence across multiple properties? As our full-time Director of Facilities - Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute renovation and maintenance projects for hotels. You'll enjoy a flexible schedule that is mainly Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm except when traveling.

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $95,000 /year and excellent benefits, including a 401(k), health, dental, medical, life insurance, a health savings account (HSA), paid time off (PTO), and discounts at hotels managed by Western States.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES - HOSPITALITY

As our new Director of Facilities, you have the important responsibility of ensuring that our building systems are running smoothly. You go out and help general managers and property maintenance workers at our different locations. Whether it's a renovation, property maintenance, or the occasional new construction, you provide oversight and support. You travel around Utah and other surrounding states as needed. You get to visit every single one of our locations throughout the U.S. at least once a year.

Organized and efficient, you complete paperwork and attend meetings as needed. To keep our facilities up to brand standards, you will keep yourself familiar with our hotel brands (Hilton, Marriott, etc). The Director of Facilities- Hospitality engages with our employees, shares knowledge, and learns new things. You will love having a job where you feel both needed and valued!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES - FACILITIES MANAGER

  • 10+ years of maintenance and renovation experience
  • Certified Pool Operator
  • Facility management experience
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred
  • An outgoing and kind personality
