Supervises: Kitchen Associates

Shift Times: Must be very flexible, swing shift hours

Job Purpose: We are seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to join our Marriott family to oversee food production operations, organize kitchen processes to maintain high quality, safety, and efficiency. The Kitchen Supervisor will coordinate with the Exec Sous Chef/Executive Chef to assist in managing the kitchen team.

 Job Responsibilities:  

  • Set kitchen priorities, set production goals, schedule production, and supervise cooks. 
  • Promote communication in the kitchen that leads to productive, safe work. 
  • Comply with health and safety regulations for production, holding, handling, and labeling. 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the kitchen and storage areas. 
  • Ensure that kitchen equipment is in working order and is properly used. 
  • Maintain reports of department waste.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation.

  •  High school diploma or equivalent


  • Minimum of 2 years experience in knowledge of professional cooking & supervising cooks.
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification required
