We are looking for our Executive Chef! This is the perfect opportunity for those with seasoned experience in fine dining who wish to inspire the palates of residents who have a true passion for the highest quality food and service. We have a beautiful restaurant venue for our residents, providing limitless options to embrace your culinary creativity!

 

Our Executive Chef:

 

  • Creates standard and seasonal menus using top quality ingredients and ensuring the utmost satisfaction of our Parkwood residents. 
  • Helps hire and train new Team Members, building a passion for the culinary arts!
  • Prepare and help serve evening meals Monday-Friday
  • Periodically reviews the menu and food service with our residents to ensure satisfaction and brainstorm new menu ideas!
  • Practices and observes all safety and loss prevention procedures.
  • Prepares reports for department usage, inventory, and expenses in a timely basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

What you need to succeed!

 

  • High school diploma or the equivalent education, training and experience. Culinary degree preferred.
  • Five years’ experience as executive chef, chef in hotel, restaurant, club, or other similar employment, with a focus on fine dining. 
  • Experience in menus for restricted diets.
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge in all areas of local Health Department, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Able to meet budgets and control costs.

 

Physical Requirements for the role:

 

  • The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
