We are seeking a creative and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats. You will collaborate with our kitchen staff to create unique and delicious desserts that satisfy our customers' cravings.



Responsibilities: 



  • Develop and prepare a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.

  • Create new recipes and innovate on existing ones to keep our dessert menu fresh and exciting.

  • Ensure all pastry and dessert items are prepared and presented according to company standards.

  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to food safety standards.

  • Train and supervise junior pastry staff members.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and special events.

Qualifications:



  • Previous experience as a prep cook preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role in a similar environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of pastry and dessert techniques, ingredients, and flavors.

  • Creative and innovative approach to pastry and dessert creation.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

  • Certification from a culinary school or equivalent work experience.

  • Attention for detail

  • Teachable.

  • ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)

  • Effective communication skills 

  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs 

  • Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
