Sushi Restaurant in the Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP) Airport is seeking full time and part time sushi chefs for a variety of shifts. DUTIES

• Create quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging.
• Ensure all operating standards including food safety and quality are strictly adhered to.
• Greet, interact, and communicate with customers.
• Provide a high level of attention to guest satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Actively display knowledge of all sushi menu items
• Prepare sushi related products and apply proper cutting techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi bar.
• May order and receive raw materials and dry goods.
• Ensure all required logbooks, including rice pH log and temperature logs, are maintained and verified.
• Share ingredients & nutritional information about the sushi products to encourage sales and customer interaction.
• Promote the fact that product is "made fresh daily" by trained sushi chefs.
• Friendly, knowledgeable, and represents our business professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experienced sushi chef highly preferred
• Prior food handling experiences a must
• ServSafe Certified and knowledge of HAACP standards preferred.
• Strong customer service skills
• Team Player
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
