  • Wage: $22 - $25 per hour




  • Schedule:  10am - 7pm




 


A Day in the Life:




  • Prepare quality food with minimal supervision




  • Be aware of special dietary menu items and prepare them as needed




  • Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining Chateau’s food quality standards




  • Follow state regulations related to cleanliness, food storage guidelines, and equipment management in all food preparation and kitchen areas






  • Assist in preparations for catering or special events when needed




  • Assist with receiving and putting away incoming orders when needed




  • Other duties as assigned by the Culinary Services Director or Sous Chef




  • Opportunity to cook a variety of menu items/cuisines. Specials change daily 




  • NO LATE NIGHTS! 




 


Requirements:




  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an operation with scratch cooking and line cooking




  • Ability to multitask on a service line with a variety of menu items




  • Strong understanding of traditional cooking techniques/fundamentals/methods




  • Communication skills and teamwork




  • Experience working with breakfast or brunch items




  • Ability to read and comprehend order tickets, menus, and recipes in English




  • Valid food handler’s permit and MAST permit




  • Pass a Department of Social and Health Services background check (some negative actions can be acceptable)
