DESCRIPTION


Venue 252 is a state-of-the-art urban event space in Eugene, and we are seeking a full-time Chef to join our team! The Venue is a modern structure with a forward thinking food experience that serves intimate parties and large scale events. This position starts at $19/hour - $22.50/hour depending on experience with growth opportunity up to $25/hour.

DUTIES

As a Chef, some of your responsibilities will include:



  • Manage daily activities and supervising salad, soup and other cases

  • Ensure that timing of orders and production schedules are coordinated

  • Stock products

  • Maintaining inventory of fresh products and supplies

  • Train and evaluate employees (as needed)

  • Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors and employees

  • Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements

  • Have a current Food Handler card


QUALIFICATIONS


Catering experience is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in this field. Applicants should be available any shift including weekends. You must be 18 years or older. Chefs must have a current food handlers card or ServSafe certificate.
