Summary of position: This position will be responsible to deliver food and supplies while maintaining the proper temperatures to various local locations. A clean valid NYS Drivers License is required for this position. Accepting and putting away vendor deliveries is a regular part of this position.
Delivery Agent Duties:
Maintain food temperatures from transport from original facility to destination. Put away deliveries.
Responsible for loading and unloading of the delivery truck.
The Cook establishes and oversees the kitchen work flow at his/her assigned unit to ensure that meals are prepared in an efficient and effective manner. The Cook may be additionally responsible for receiving supplies, verifying delivery quantity and quality, and ensuring all supplies are stored appropriately in accordance with health and safety regulations.
