As a Dietary Manager / Chef you have an enormous
impact on our residents’ quality of life and overall satisfaction. You are responsible for ensuring your
department delivers and exceptional dining experience at every meal by hiring
and training cooks and server personnel.
You and your staff will be guided by planned menus and a budget you will
help develop. You will have the autonomy
to create a dining program that showcases creativity and is responsive to our
residents’ choices. You will also be
responsible for food and supply purchasing within your budget. You will work with your dining team to
maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment that complies with local,
state and federal food service regulations.
80% of time in this position is dedicated to food preparation. 20% of this position is dedicated to
planning, purchasing and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18.
- Prefer experience in quantity food
production in a health care setting.
- Serve Safe Certification or
equivalent preferred or obtained shortly after employment.
