Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sous/Head Chef to join our team as the Head/Executive Chef. The successful candidate will lead our culinary team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our dining offerings, ensuring that each guest experiences unparalleled satisfaction through innovative and exquisite cuisine.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the culinary team to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Develop creative and innovative menus that reflect local flavors and utilize indigenous ingredients to craft memorable dishes.
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food procurement, inventory management, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain a pulse on industry trends and developments to continually enhance our culinary offerings and stay ahead of the competition.


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a high-end luxury lodge or equivalent restaurant environment, with a preference for boutique, smaller establishments, or intimate settings.
  • Proven culinary skills that demonstrate creativity, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
  • Ability to skillfully incorporate local flavors and indigenous ingredients into culinary creations.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and a dedication to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not essential
