We’re looking for experienced Lead Cook to join our kitchen team. a Lead Cook will be responsible for overseeing station prep, setup, service and breakdown while maintaining sanitation standards.

Lead Cook Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing and assisting in all kitchen functions from ordering, inventory, prep, service, breakdown and cleanup.
  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes.
  • Assigns daily prep work for line cooks and ensures the kitchen is set up and ready for service.
  • Trains and develops line cooks per restaurant standards.
  • Adheres to chef’s standards for all prepared food products.
  • Works with servers to ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that kitchen operation procedures for food prep, storage areas and hygiene meet food health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Lead Cook Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years management experience in a similar role.
  • Valid King County food handler’s permit.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and execute kitchen functions.
  • In-depth, working knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team setting.
