Salary: $17 - $23 / Hourly

We are looking for experienced line cooks to join our team at various Proper House Group restaurant concepts. The candidates possess a team mentality and thrives off of growth. A sense of urgency, extreme cleanliness and great communication skills are just a few traits that our candidates need to be able to display daily.

Ash is a modern culinary destination that blends traditional Italian flavors with a contemporary flair.

Rooster & the Till is an award-winning, modern American neighborhood restaurant, with an always-evolving menu and eclectic wine list for adventurous diners looking to be challenged by new flavors.

Gallito Taqueria is a modern taqueria, putting a twist on classic Mexican street food.

Nebraska Mini Mart concept includes bocce and shuffleboard courts, a shaded outdoor patio area and a walk-up burger spot serving burgers, fries and fried chicken.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and
  snacks
• Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• At least one year of cooking experience
• Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organization and active listening skills
• The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time
• Exceptional time management skills
