Reports to Director of Food and Beverage

Essential Duties:

  • Oversees all food production operations at the facility.
  • Ensures the production of consistently high-quality food for all the restaurant outlets. 
  • Maintains Quality Sanitation program in all areas.
  • Maintains and evaluates existing food concepts as well as the development of new ones to ensure the highest quality of food and profitability.
  • Participates in long- and short-term goals to achieve budgetary objectives for the food and beverage department.
  • maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Promotes professional development of self and other associates.
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Select, train, and supervise kitchen staff in proper preparation of menu items, equipment, operation and safety measures.
  • Evaluate performance; give guidance and discipline as necessary.
  • Monitor to ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products as to comply with Health Dept regulations.

  • Six months to one year related experience; or combination of education and experience
  • Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes 
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products, proper preparation and presentation of food and beverage items
  • Punctual and reliable 
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of shift. Ability to lift 25-100 pounds. 

Annual salary of $50,000-$57,000, depending on experience.
