8-15 years of experience in interior design or architecture with a focus on Hospitality and Multifamily Residential interiors projects
Based in Richmond, VA
A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Interior Design or Architecture
Strong technical expertise in code analysis (ADA/FHA/IBC, etc.), consultant coordination (architectural, MEP, lighting, structural, acoustic, security, etc.), and project management, with the ability to deliver creative, functional, and compliant design solutions
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple team members to develop refined and compelling design concepts, translating them into clear presentations and detailed design documentation
Expertise in crafting clear, high-quality construction document sets, with a focus on detailed coordination and high-end design
Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills, with experience guiding junior designers through the entire design process, from concept development through construction administration
Extensive experience in construction administration for interior renovations and new developments in multifamily, senior living, and/or hospitality sectors, with preference for a minimum of two completed projects and field experience as the CA lead
In-depth experience in amenity space planning, FF&E specifications, and material selection
Advanced proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Bluebeam Studio, InDesign, and project management softwares, with excellent 3D modeling skills highly valued
Familiarity with construction administration platforms such as TonicDM, Newforma, PlanGrid, ProCore, Autodesk Build, and Kahua
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Valid work permit for the USA
